A CAREER IN LEADERSHIP AND BOARDS
Our goal is to increase the number of female board members in Danish corporate life, from 30,000 to 60,000, out of a total of 140,000 seats.
One way to achieve this is through our development program 'Towards Top 1000', designed to foster more female participation in top management.
Female leaders with outstanding career potential are sponsored by their companies into our development program, and into hands-on positions at advisory boards and boards of companies with high-growth potential.
Candidates gain a whole new approach to leadership through working with boards, improving their own performance, and expanding what is possible in their sponsor company.
BENEFITS TO THE SPONSOR COMPANY
Providing this opportunity to your female leaders has a significant impact on their motivation and levels of job satisfaction, and ultimately, retention of talent.
It shows that your company 'walks it talk' when it comes to creating a culture of female leadership, and it communicates to the world your stance on Corporate Social Responsibility.
FURTHER BENEFITS INCLUDE:
- Improving the profile of your your company and its culture of leadership.
- Increased quality of leadership talent to draw on for the future
- Compliance to Government-mandated levels of women participation in leadership.
- Improved culture of leadership company-wide.
- Access to the latest research on leadership, boards and corporate diversity
- Inspiring case-studies to share in the media.
”"In our company, female leaders from Denmark, Sweden and Finland have been admitted as members of (ExecutiveWomens.Net. We are an international company with diversity on top of our agenda, and we invest a lot in our talent.
In contrast to other initiatives, this program is all about gaining hands-on experience. All of our participants have been successfully matched and gained positions on advisory boards. In cooperation with the management they have had a real role deciding the future development and growth of these companies they are matched with.
From the first workshop of the program, we have noticed that our female participants want to take lager responsibilities. ExecutiveWomens.Net is a major contributor in increasing gender diversity in top management here at AIG, and throughout Denmark."
