REALISING HIGH GROWTH POTENTIAL
Evidence from the Danish Business Authority shows that companies with an advisory board perform better than companies without a board.
After 5 years of operations, more than 15,000 companies underperform, according to income projections established by the Danish Business Authority. This indicates a need to establish professional boards, to design the companies' overall strategy. .
ExecutiveWomens.Net focuses on making the most of society's human resources in the area of female leaders' skills and career development.
After matching the right board candidates with boards at small and medium sized companies with high-growth potential, these companies will often achieve increased admittance to markets, more innovation, increased access to finance and stronger management.
The companies who are members of ExectiveWomens.Net have had amazing results after the first board's strategic planning day, and the first board meetings. They gain a whole new vision, revising the budgets in positive ways, leading to increased revenue and profits.
As our member companies grow due to improved results, the board members in a similar way can achieve seats on the boards of larger companies, through our organisation. At the same time, the board members are inspired to take the challenge of higher positions in their own companies, expanding their career possibilities.
"Already after the strategic planning day...my advisory board put me on the path to a trim, focused company, by pruning down our business activities, and intensifying what we do to focus on core business, and increasing profits."
THE 5-YEAR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR
SMALL TO MEDIUM-SIZED CAMPANIES
Formal board candidate introductions are just one part of the program. Throughout the year, board candidate members and company owner members meet for development and networking at workshops and conferences. These focus on the core skills of hands-on board work and leadership.
The goals of member companies vary. They may choose the goal of creating organic growth. They might choose to create growth through mergers and acquisitions. The goal may be to set the company up for the most profitable exit possible.
Over the five years of the full program, short and long term needs are provided for over time. Mastery of basic or critical competencies are achieved first, and a groundwork is laid for the focus to evolve naturally as the company strengthens and matures.
